Course Description
Failure to report elder or dependent adult abuse in long-term health care facilities is a crime. To ensure that administrators and staff in long term care facilities are properly trained in recognizing and reporting elder and dependent adult abuse, California law Welfare and Institution Code Section 1502 requires all community care facilities to provide training to all staff in recognizing and reporting abuse.
The objectives of the course are:
