Course Summary
Infection prevention and control remain essential responsibilities in California Adult Residential Facilities (ARF) and Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE). Administrators and staff will learn key components of effective infection control, including hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, environmental cleaning and disinfection, communication and reporting responsibilities, and the role of a designated infection control lead or infection preventionist.
