Day Program Case Manager Wanted
Innovative community-based day program for developmentally disabled individuals is looking for a highly motivated dynamic staff person. The program emphasizes community integration, sports, social skills and job development. The individual should be highly creative, outgoing, flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing environment. A typical day begins with taking consumers on a walk through the City of San Fernando followed by a walk to the park for basketball and other sports. Consumers engage in jobs that include painting chairs, car wash, gardening, baking cookies, and Yoga. Other days consumers are learning independent living skills such as budgeting and communication skills. You are working with people who have autism and limited language. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job duties also include driving consumers to and from the program in a seven-passenger van.
Job Details:
Starting Pay: $12.00 per hour
Full Health Care Benefits after 90 Days
90 day Probation Period
Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM
Drive 7 Passenger Van
Clean Driving Record
The program is licensed by DPSS Community Care Licensing.
Prior to Hire the candidate must obtain Fingerprint Clearance
